Hypnosis – an overlooked tool and helper in birth: Anna Knakkergaard
Studies show that including hypnosis in the antenatal training can contribute to an improved birth experience with less pain, reduce interventions, and perhaps even improve Apgar scores. Unfortunately, hypnosis is seldom used in the health care system today, despite the fact that it is an efficient treatment without any known side effects.
Hypnosis contains both physical, mental, and existential aspects, which makes it an ideal method to apply during pregnancy.
