Li is a midwife since 1996, she furthermore took a Masters in Midwifery at Sheffield University, UK in 2010 and defended her dissertation in 2013 with “The Swedish Birth Seat Trial” at the Department of Women and Children’s Health at Karolinska Institutet. She currently works as a associate professor at Lunds University in Sweeden.
