Midwife PhD, Researcher, Assistant Professor

Hanna holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the Department of Clinical Science and Education, Södersjukhuset, Karolinska Institutet. She has been an Assistant Professor at the Department of Women’s and Children’s Health, Karolinska Institutet, since 2022. Additionally, she is a researcher with a focus on water births, the consequences of vacuum extraction, and peer learning, among other topics.

Women’s experiences of water birth compared with conventional uncomplicated births

Hanna will in this 1-hour recorded webinar present her prospective cohort study, where she compares childbirth experiences between women having a waterbirth and women having an uncomplicated conventional birth. This using the validated Childbirth Experience Questionnaire (CEQ) six weeks postpartum and including 215 women in her study.
