Training that has to scale without outside dependency

Ongoing conflict has made it difficult for Ukrainian midwives to access regular, in-person clinical education. Rather than relying on external experts to repeatedly travel in and deliver training, the Ukrainian Association of Midwives needed a model that would build lasting, local expertise — training that could keep going even when circumstances made travel or large gatherings difficult.

In 2025 GynZone held a hands-on workshop for Ukrainian midwives, equipping them not just with clinical skills in obstetric laceration diagnosis and repair, but with the tools to teach those skills to others. Midwives who completed the program returned to their own hospitals and communities across Ukraine, training colleagues directly — multiplying the reach of every workshop many times over.

Free GynZone license for midwife supervisors

After the workshop, GynZone has provided the Ukrainian Association of Midwives with free licensed seats on the GynZone platform for midwife supervisors since 2025. This gives supervisors ongoing access to GynZone’s full library of clinical training videos, courses, quizzes and webinars — so learning doesn’t stop after the workshop.

Both the workshop and the license are provided entirely free of charge, reflecting GynZone’s commitment to supporting maternity care wherever the need is greatest.
