Hilary Schlinger
CNM, CPM (ret), MS, RN, Researcher, Instructor and Midwifery Program Director
She first became a Licensed Midwife in NM in 1982. Hilary attended approximately 1000 home and birth center births, and provided gynecological care for hundreds of women, before turning her attention to midwifery education.
Hilary Schlinger holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University, an Associate of Science in Nursing from Regents College, an Associate in Midwifery from the National College of Midwifery, and a Masters in Midwifery from Philadelphia University. For four years, she was on the Board of Directors of the Midwives Alliance of North America (MANA)
She has served as a preceptor for numerous midwifery students and is currently the Midwifery Program Director at the International Institute for Health Care Professionals.
